The AK981x and AK982x are EEPROM-DAC family designed for Analog-ouput preset-data control of Analog-output system used in such applications as camera lens module, sensor module, wireless equipments, factory automation equipments, and measuring instruments. The device uses the AKEMD's advanced mixed-signal CMOS process with embedded-EEPROM, offering high performance D-to-A conversion and stable EEPROM accessing with low power consumption.

Package Line up
The AKEMD EEPROM is served in various package line up to solve footprint issue in board layout design. The ultra small package line such as MSOP, SON, SONW, and USON do significantly enable foot print to save comparing with popular small out line package line such as SOP and SSOP. A scale factor comparison among package line up is shown in Figure-1.
