AK4702
SCART A/V switch with Audio DAC
The AK4702 is an I2C controlled audio-and-video signal switch matrix with stereo audio DAC, designed for dual SCART applications, included in the Audio4homeTM AKM audio product family. The AK4702 video path features a multiplexer for the AC-coupled inputs with clamp/bias, and DC-coupled outputs driving up to 3Vpp. The video input stage includes a signal monitor that supports automatic start-up and sleep functions. The AK4702 audio path features a multiplexer, a mixer of DAC-out and AUX-in, and a stereo-to-mono mix-down, with output drive up to 2Vrms. The DAC output stage integrates a combination filter of SCF (Switched Cap Filter) and CTF (Continuous Time Filter), which maximizes clock jitter tolerance and requires no external filter parts. The AK4702 enables easy design and offers cost savings for basic SCART applications.
